Does Outlet Shopping Make You Stand Up and Cheer? We Know We Do!!

Ah, premium shopping outlets, how we love thee…and who wouldn’t? Great brands, low prices, all in ONE location! We’re having trouble finding one downfall, let alone containing our excitement about the brand new Gloucester Premium Outlets in Blackwood, NJ. What’s the best thing about this new shopping conglomeration, you ask? The fact that it’s only a 15-minute drive from Woodland Village, of course!

We’ve decided to dedicate this month’s blog to some of our favorite stores at the Gloucester Premium Outlets. Honestly, the hardest part was choosing which ones to talk about, because with over 70 to choose from (and all of them great!) the discussions could get a little heated. But, in the end, we are proud of the list we’ve come up with, and excited to share it with you!

Old Navy Outlet – When it comes to dressing your family in the latest fashions at affordable prices, Old Navy already tops the list. Their low-priced, high-valued clothing makes back-to-school shopping that much more enjoyable – especially when we can grab a couple items for ourselves while the kids try theirs on. Add on the incredible deals that can be found at their outlet locations, and “back-to-school” shopping may become a monthly event!

New York & Company Outlets – When it comes to finding that perfect interview ensemble or go-to power outfit for client meetings and major presentations, women everywhere turn to New York & Company. Their outlet not only makes their modern, wear-to-work collections more accessible, but way more affordable – allowing us to get even more for our money while we make lasting impressions at the office.

Brooks Brothers Factory Store – The outlet’s office offerings are not limited to women, when men need a place to turn for suits and business casual attire that oozes confidence and respectability, they turn to Brooks Brothers. This label is renowned for their classic shirts, suits and sportswear, and their outlets have earned their reputation for fair prices and choice selections.

Carter’s – Not leaving out the smallest members of the family, we don’t know one parent who doesn’t love shopping at Carters. The only caveat to this outlet store: try not to buy so much that your baby will grow out of the clothes before they get through their new wardrobe!

Nike Factory Store – When not at home or at the office, many of us can be found taking care of business in the gym or on the trails -it’s the main reason we opened a sports court at the complex and installed new soccer goals. Whether we’re playing ball with our families, fetch in the Woodland Village dog park, or strolling with our significant others through the beautiful grounds, we need the right shoes and apparel for the job. With their reputation for excellence and ability to customize shoes, Nike is our go-to retailer, especially when you factor in outlet prices.

Did we miss your favorite? Share it with us and tell us why you love it – we’re always up for a shopping trip to check it out. And, with our apartments located in nearby Voorhees, NJ, feel free to respond several times with different suggestions!

Want a Special Night Out in Voorhees? Here Are Our 3 Favorite Restaurants!

We wanted our first blog to be momentous, so, as self-proclaimed foodies, we knew it had to be about one of our favorite topics: Going Out to Eat! We love to get out and experience new flavors and textures as often as possible, so we’ve tested out every restaurant located in our fair city of Lindenwold, NJ, as well as nearby Voorhees and Gloucester Townships and Philadelphia, PA. We decided to start out with Voorhees, NJ, because it happens to have 3 of our favorite restaurants, period, but also because it’s close enough for last-minute date ideas, late-night dinners after a stressful and long day at work, and quick trips for meals with unexpected, but welcomed, company.

Without further ado, here are the best eateries that Voorhees has to offer:

Ristorante Fieni’s

Located in a house on South Burnt Mill Road, instead of a cookie-cutter restaurant locale, Ristorante Fieni’s prepares classic northern Italian recipes that have been passed down throughout generations. Cooked with a daring twist, the meals bring to mind the unique taste of a homemade meal without the pretentious atmosphere that most fine dining Italian restaurants are known for. Whether you’re planning a romantic date or a celebratory dinner with family, this BYOB is the place to go for delicious food, outstanding service and reasonable prices.

El Mariachi San Lucas

You can’t get Mexican food this authentic unless you travel to Mexico. El Mariachi San Lucas creates deliciously unique meals using family recipes that have been perfected throughout generations. The food is prepared daily, from scratch, using the freshest local ingredients available. Their sumptuous appetizers leave you craving more, their flavorful and stimulating entrees transport you to exotic locales south of our country’s border, and their decadent desserts leave you fully satisfied, but wishing you had room for seconds. El Mariachi San Lucas is a restaurant built on traditions; maybe it’s time you started one of your own and made this eatery a regular in your meal rotation.

Elena Wu Restaurant & Sushi Bar

Situated in the Voorhees Town Center, Elena Wu Restaurant & Sushi Bar guarantees a fantastic atmosphere, unsurpassed friendly service, and food that will create a symphony in your mouth. It’s not often that we close our eyes in pure enjoyment over a bite of food, but the sushi here deserves a moment of celebration. Lucky for the patrons who choose to enter this amazing BYOB, the delectable offerings do not stop at the sushi – every meal is prepared and cooked to perfection. Specializing in a fusion of Chinese and French cuisines, as well as the ingenious sushi creations, Elena Wu Restaurant & Sushi Bar presents a dining experience you are sure to remember. Bring your significant other, bring the kids, bring you friends and entire family – everyone should have the chance to eat here.
